The price includes:

  • All yoga tuition (equipment is provided including mats, blocks, bricks, blankets and belts)
  • 7 nights accommodation in single or double ensuite rooms which also have small fridge.
  • Generous breakfast after the morning class each day
  • Evening meals on the first and last nights (food is your own choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian and is all locally produced.)
  • Transfer by taxi from Chania airport (from Heraklion there will be an extra charge of 80 euros per taxi each way, so if sharing is possible we will arrange it. Payment for this will be made in Crete.)

*A child is assumed to be 12 years or under and accompanied by a parent not doing yoga. Teenagers are charged the full non-participant rate. **In the event of a large yoga group needing more rooms than are available at Hotel Leonidas, very similar rooms will be provided close by.

Travel Information (flights and insurance are not included in the price)

The courses run from Tuesday to Tuesday but there are no classes on the Tuesdays (see the schedule on the Yoga Holidays page). If you can't find direct charter flights to Chania on Tuesday, both Aegean Airlines and Olympic Airlines have daily flights from many European cities to Athens which connect with domestic flights to Chania (only 40 minutes) and these are good value if you book well in advance. There are also plenty of flights going into Heraklion airport. Chania is also served by two ferries a day from Piraeus (Athens). Please visit our links page for some useful travel sites. Car hire is available locally or can be pre-booked with your flight from Chania or Heraklion airports.

Language

All classes are in English but Marios is also a native speaker of Greek and fluent in German.
