Payment is taken in euros if you live outside the UK.
There are 13 rooms available for each week. When these are all full, if there are still yoga places available, additional rooms can be booked nearby.
All rooms can be either single or twin/double. Some rooms can be used as triple rooms. Please note that we do not allocate shared rooms to strangers. If you are spending time in Crete with family or friends who are not participating in the yoga and would like to book your own independent self-catering accommodation please ask us – there are places locally that we can recommend. We will then give you a price minus accommodation – please do bear in mind though, that for each week we commit to filling all the rooms at Leonidas first
Booking procedure is as follows
Complete the online application form. You will need to have read our terms and conditions when you fill in the form.
We can only confirm your place once we have received your booking form. For all students it is particularly important that health/medical information is declared fully on the form.
Once we have confirmed your place we will request your deposit payment of €200 per person, and you can then go ahead and book your flight/travel. Next, please complete the travel details form. Places are not secure without the deposit payment. We will provide details of how to pay the deposit by bank transfer; this is our preferred method. The balance is payable by 6 weeks before the holiday.
The price includes
- All yoga tuition (all equipment is provided)
- 7 nights accommodation in single or double ensuite rooms which also have air-conditioning, tv, fridge, kettle and balcony or veranda.
- Brunch after the morning class on five days. The non-participant price does not include breakfasts so you have the flexibility to choose to join or not.
- Transfer by taxi from Chania airport or Chania city centre. We no longer offer taxi transfers from Heraklion due to the high cost, but for flights arriving there morning or afternoon it is possible to take a bus and be picked up from Chania bus station. Hiring a car for the duration of the holiday from Heraklion airport is also possible of course. If you hire a car and don’t require taxi transfer we are able to offer you a modest discount.
The price does not include
- Flights or insurance
- Any evening meals. On the first and last nights we will be booking Camping Mithimna taverna for the group dinner (set price €20) and you can decide whether to join or not.
- Breakfast on Sunday or Tuesday. There will be a group breakfast on the Tuesday (departure day) which you can also opt to join or not.
- Bicycle hire (week’s hire will be €50)
Travel Information (flights and insurance are not included in the price)
The courses run from Tuesday to Tuesday – (classes are Wednesday to Monday). There are many flights from various European cities direct to Chania, with airlines including Easyjet, Ryanair, SAS, Eurowings and others. If there isn’t a direct flight for you on a Tuesday you can fly to Chania daily via Athens with Aegean, Olympic and Sky Express. Chania is also served by daily ferry from Piraeus (Athens). Please visit our links page for some useful travel sites. Car hire is available locally or can be pre-booked with your flight from Chania or Heraklion airports.
Language
All classes are in English but Marios is also a native speaker of Greek and fluent in German.
